Band receives donation: Bethany Rotary Club President Kelly Pottorff presents a $500 check to the South Harrison Band Boosters who are preparing for the band’s trip to the Missouri Music Educators Association convention later this month at Tan-Tar-A. Receiving the contribution were, from the left, Kathy Price, Tonya Shelby and Delcena Hamilton. The boosters organization has been raising funds to help defray the costs of the band’s trip to perform at the statewide music meeting.
The South Harrison Concert Band will perform this Sunday, Jan. 22, on the Northwest Missouri State University campus in a preview of their appearance next week at the Missouri Music Educators Association convention at Tan-Tar-A.
