Ball park upgrade: The Fitzgerald Family Trust presents a $12,000 donation to the Bethany Parks and Recreation Department to benefit the ball field improvements at Memorial Park and Babe Adams Field. Bethany Parks and Recreation will hold a grand opening at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, for the Memorial Park Field.
The ball field has a new playing surface that will improve drainage. The stadium also has a new sidewalk in front of the bleachers, new signage and a new array of field lights.
