The bridge was discovered to be in need of a fix due to the concerns made during inspection. Deterioration from year to year was eventually going to lead the old bridge into becoming unusable.
New concrete was poured and leveled on the bridge Tuesday. Guardrails and other necessary elements were added later in the week. After these components are finished, the bridge will be back open to local traffic.–Republican-Clipper photo, Lacey Holcomb
