South Harrison played a complete game on both sides of the ball to beat the Marysville Wolverines 40-22 on Friday night. Freshman Cody Weller started at quarterback to let Stanton Blake have more carries at running back. The strategy paid off when the Bulldogs established a strong running game behind Blake, Kasey McFall and J.D. Johnson to run away with the game in the second half. Carter Thomas broke the game open on a long kickoff return for a touchdown. The Bulldogs will have a chance to earn a piece of the conference title when they play at King City next Friday night. The WildKats knocked off Polo on Friday night, creating a wide open conference race.
