A 22-year-old Mt. Moriah man was charged by Harrison County authorities with child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. He was charged with failing to provide adequate supervision for a 5-year-old child who was found by a passerby walking along Highway 136, just outside Mt. Mariah.
