Columbia, MO: The Linthacum sisters—Hannah, Sarah and Micah, from left to right—had a big following of family and friends at the Mizzou-Kansas State basketball game Saturday night at the Civic Arena in St. Joseph. The game was played as part of the Bill Snyder Classic, named for the retired Kansas State football coach who is a native of St. Joseph. The Tigers took an early lead in the game but the Wildcats came back to dominate the contest with a strong inside game. The final score was 84-56. The Linthacum girls, who played high school basketball in Jefferson City, were recognized earlier in the season for becoming the first trio of sisters in NCAA history to score points in a single basketball game. They are the daughters of Bethany natives Larry and Angie (Salmon) Linthacum. Serena Sundell of Maryville was one of the starters for K-State.–Photo from Facebook
