The contractor has begun laying the gymnasium floor at the South Harrison Middle School, Superintendent Dennis Eastin said in an update at Thursday night’s school board meeting.
Eastin said the builder, Lawhon Construction of St. Joseph, believes that the new junior high will be finished in June, two months ahead of schedule. The school district plans to hold a ribbon cutting and an open house during the summer.
