Martinsville, MO: Ronald Murray was born August 30, 1942 in Martinsville, Missouri, the son of Dean and Wilma Jean (Carter) Murray and passed away November 1, 2023.

Ronald married the love of his life, Irene Broadstone September of 1963, just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Ronald was engaged in farming all his life with his father and later with his son Tim. During his life he raised all kinds of livestock (horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, and goats). Ronald and Irene acquired Webb Grocery in New Hampton in 1973, to be known as Ideal Grocery. In 1976 they built a building in New Hampton to expand Ideal Grocery and a new business Koffee Korner Kafe until the closing in 2003.

Ronald served on various boards including White Oak Heights Housing, Howard Township, and advisory board of Great Western Bank. He was a member of the New Hampton Saddle Club and New Hampton Lions Club. His hobbies included training and showing horses, hunting, and supporting his kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in all their activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and great grandson Kadyn McClellan.

Survivors: wife, Irene; daughter, Angela (Kevin) Steutermann, son, Tim (Vivian) Murray; grandchildren, Zack (Liane) McClellan, Kipp (Cara) McClellan, Lyndsey and Spencer Steutermann; great grandchildren, Miles, Axle, Korbyn, Krede and Koen McClellan. Private family graveside service at a later date. Ronald will be laid to rest in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Albany First Baptist Church in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO 64402.
