MINING APPLICATION – ADDING
NEW SITE TO PERMIT
Stoner Sand L.L.C., 33463 East 250th Street, Ridgeway, Missouri 64481, has applied for a new site addition, Site #2, to their permit from the Department of Natural Resources, Land Reclamation Program, to mine sand and gravel on 78 acres located in Harrison County, Sections 1, Townships 64N, Range 26W in the Thompson River. Additionally, this notice is to clarify the public notice for acreage currently identified in Site #1 and located in Section 12. That acreage is actually located in Section 1.
This operation will be conducted during the approximate dates of December 31, 2015 to December 31, 2054.
Written comments or a request for an informal public meeting may be made by any person with a direct, personal interest in one or more of the factors that the Staff Director may consider in issuing a permit, as required by The Land Reclamation Act, sections 444.760 to 444.790, RSMo.
Mail written comments, or a request for an informal meeting to: Director, Land Reclamation Program, Department of Natural Resources, PO Box 176, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0176. All comments and requests for a public meeting must be submitted in writing to the director’s office within fifteen days following the final public notice publication date.
