Liberty, MO: Alexander Johnson, 89, Liberty, MO (formerly of Gallatin, MO) passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at Our Lady Of Mercy Home, Liberty, MO.
Alexander was born July 13, 1933, in Harrison County, Missouri the son of Corneilus and Ivola (Harrison) Johnson. He was raised around Gilman City, Missouri and baptized there as a young man.
On June 4, 1955, he married Donna Jean Ray in Gilman City, MO. She preceded him in death in April of 2006.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Charlie; and sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Ella Lee Smiley.
Alexander is survived by his daughters, Janet (Bob) Gibson, Gilman City, MO and Lonna (John) Bissonnette, Liberty, MO; grandchildren, Amy (Danny) Gibson, Trenton, MO, Alyson (Joel) Messersmith, Oregon, Jack (Brooke) Bissonnette, Colorado, Victor (Catherine) Bissonnette, Liberty, MO; great grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson, Henzley, and Inara Lee; brother-in-law, Allan Dean (Karon) Ray, Cameron, MO; sister-in-law, Sharon (Gene) Gibson, Gilman City, MO and special cousin who was like a brother, Garvin Collin, Kearney, MO.
Alexander has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
