Larry Wayne Foster, 64, of Ridgeway, MO passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Kavanaugh House, Des Moines, IA.
He was born November 21, 1950 in Ridgeway, MO the son of Virgil and Elva (Hammack) Foster. They preceded him in death.
On May 19, 1973 he married Allison Heise in Charles City, IA. She survives at home.
Larry was the owner of Foster’s Auction Service in Ridgeway, MO. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion, Ridgeway School Board, Lion’s Club, the National Auctioneer Association and the Missouri Auctioneer Association.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Ann Foster and 2 sisters, Carolyn Sue Clapham and Linda Lou Reno.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Allison, include 2 sons, Chad (Elizabeth) Foster, Ridgeway, MO, J.J. (Emily) Foster, Ridgeway, MO; daughter, Letisha (Seth) George, Princeton, MO; and grandchildren, Alex, Hayden and Harley Foster, and Connor, Cloe and Keegan George.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30 at First Baptist Church of Ridgeway, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial with military rites will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ridgeway, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
