The Bethany City Council approved a contract Monday night with People Service of Omaha, Neb., to operate the city’s water and sewer departments.
The contract was approved after City Attorney Cristine Stallings negotiated changes in the contract. Board members also have requested additional clarification of the contract before People Services takes over the operation of the city departments.
