Shirley Easton, 84, Amarillo, Texas, (formerly of Bethany, MO) passed away at Brookhaven Care Home on April 15, 2015.
Shirley was born near Gilman City, MO, on October 7, 1930, to Eva and Okla Fitzpatrick. She spent most of her young life on a farm near Gilman City until moving to Bethany to attend high school. She graduated from Bethany High School in 1947. In November of 1949, she married Paul A. Easton in Bethany, MO. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church in Bethany. She was a homemaker and florist at Easton Floral.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by a daughter, Anna (Terry) Hamaker Decatur, Alabama; son, Steve (Becky) Easton, Amarillo, Texas; brother, Harl (Shirley) Fitzpatrick, Ridgeway, Missouri; three grandchildren, Nicholas Todd (Nicole) Easton, Lugano, Switzerland; Kerry (Andy) Hammett, Bangkok, Thailand; and Beth Easton, Dallas, Texas; two great grandchildren; Emaline and Desmond Hammett. Three granddogs also survive: Abby and Bella, Decatur, Alabama, and Theodore, Amarillo, Texas.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow at Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO.
