Coffey, MO: Helen Lynn Kinzie was born December 30th, 1935, the only child born to Earle F and Gertrude (Creighton) Stewart.
Helen Lynn graduated from Coffey High School in 1953 then attended one semester at NWMO State College before working at the Daviess County HSC Office.
On May 1st, 1955, she married Gary Conan Hughs. They were blessed with two sons, Leslie Stewart and Chris Allen.
On January 8th, 1965, Helen Lynn married Al Kinzie and they had a daughter, Michelle Lynese, in 1968.
She and Al (better known as Red) had 50 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2015.
They moved back to her hometown of Coffey from Council Bluffs, IA in 1993. They were able to care for her parents until their deaths.
Helen joined the love of her life, Red, as well as her daughter Michelle and her parents Earle & Gertrude, in rest, on March 1st, 2022, at the age of 86.
Helen Lynn leaves two sons, Les & Chris; two grandsons, Chase & Cole (Hannah) Hughs, and two granddaughters Lindsay Alexis Luettel (Chris) and Rhiannon Lynese Riley (Nickey) as well as great grandchildren, Scarlett, Lincoln, and Clara Hughs and Jersey Hicks.
Helen Lynn loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.
Helen has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. There are no scheduled services at this time. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Coffey Cemetery, Coffey, MO. Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com
