Judith Ann Jones, 82, of Raymore, MO passed peacefully on December 21, 2021. She was surrounded by family who remained at her side until her final breath.

Judy was born in Bethany to Dorothy and Avery Bolar on September 14, 1939. She graduated from Southwest Harrison High School in 1957 where she was crowned Basketball Queen in her senior year and participated in numerous extracurricular activities. She was her senior Class Treasurer, played saxophone in the school band, was on the editorial staff for the yearbook, and a member of the booster and drama clubs. Judy attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO for two years.

While working in Kansas City she met the love of her life, Eddie Jones. After she married Eddie in 1962, they moved back to Bethany where her older son Tim was born in 1964. The family headed back to Kansas City where her younger son, Todd, was born in 1968. She became the Executive Assistant to the CEO of the engineering firm Burns and McDonnell during her 18 years with the company.

During retirement, she traveled the world with Eddie including China, Mexico, Alaska, Central America, South America and Europe. They relocated to Foxwood Springs Senior Living Community in Raymore in June of 2021.

Of her many accomplishments, she was particularly committed to the work of her PEO group. She was a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs.
