Cainsville, MO: Barbara Lou (Walker) Bourne Osmon, 86, Cainsville, MO passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
She was born on March 25, 1935 in McFall, Missouri the daughter of William Ross and Ruby Rae (Todd) Walker. She was raised in the New Hampton area, moved to western Neraska and then returned to Bethany, MO in 1967.
Barbara taught school in western Nebraska, then worked for Lambert Cap Factory and later started C&B Seed and Barbara’s Taxi in Bethany, MO. She enjoyed bowling, reading, feeding the birds and sporting events of her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of Women’s Eagle Auxiliary and RSVP.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Bourne; step-son, Bobby Osmon; sons-in-law, Moe Decker and Rodney Rumley and a granddaughter, Candi Morgan.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Leroy William Osmon; children, Eva and Perry Stark, Mary Decker, Roger and Pat Bourne, Cecilia Devore and Roger Whitaker, Melissa and David Gilbertson, Doug and Felicia Bourne, Billy and Charlotte Osmon, Kathy Rumley, and Janet and Larry Morgan; grandchildren, Jason Stark and Heather Roberts, Katie and Aaron Krueger, Andrea and Frank Guadiana, Noelle Mobley, Erica Owens, Shannon and Vanessa Devore, Shauwn Devore and Misty Chapman, Nicole and Sarah Whitaker, Dalton and Dena Bourne, Walker Bourne, Jax Bourne, Axel Bourne, Stephanie Mercer, Bianca Mercer, Brady Blackford, Alisha Bodayk, Amy and James McClure, Kenny and Micky Osmon, Katlynn and Dwight Stevens, Elaina and Matt Doty, Mandi and Mike Smith, Gabe and Dora Morgan and 41 great grandchildren. Barbara has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. There are no scheduled services. Inurnment will be held in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.
