Darrell was born September 30, 1932 in Cainsville to Claude Wyllie and Bernice May (Hart) Cain.
He married Irene Ruth Perkins on February 14, 1979 in Mercer County, MO. Darrell and Irene ran the Cain Service Station for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sons: Bill and Frank Teft; siblings: Florence, Wilma, Claude, Harvey, Clayton, Bill, Mary, and James.
