Bethany, MO: Making friends: Law officers spent an evening last week helping a group of local children pick out toys at the Bethany Walmart Store. Highway Patrolman Ben Hillyard and Bethany Police Chief Brian Groom (background) were shopping with a couple of kids, left photo; while Deputy Sheriff Kevin Lawson was helping a little girl pick out dolls. The Shop With a Cop Night has been a Christmas tradition in Bethany for the past several years.
