Rains unleash more flooding, nearly surpassing 1993 record

Torrential rains caused another round of flooding over the weekend in Harrison County.
Some 5.35 inches of rain fell during a series of storms that began on Friday night and continued into Sunday morning. Runoff from the storms caused Big Creek and Buck’s Branch and other streams to go out of their banks over the weekend.
