Highway 136 was closed from Buzzard Gulch to Albany for several hours last week when wet road material began adhering to tires and causing damage. The contractor, Vance Brothers, had to scrape off the slimy material before the road could be reopened. A trash truck driver said rocks flew up and broke out his headlights.
