Extension sign dedicated: The Harrison County Extension Center’s new sign at the courthouse was dedicated during the 100th anniversary celebration of the establishment of extension in a ceremony on Saturday morning. Pictured during the sign dedication were:

Harrison County residents gathered on the Square on Saturday to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Extension Center.
Among events during the celebration were a 5K run, the dedication of the new MU Extension sign at the west entrance to the courthouse and presentations from extension specialists and a luncheon. The program was also held to help raise funds for future extension programs.
