Harrison County is among the list for requested federal aid for the damages that were sustained during the storms that swept through the area over the last several months.
Missouri announced Monday that a request will be made to the President on behalf of state officials to issue a major disaster declaration that would include individual assistance to residents and businesses in 41 counties that have been hit by flooding, tornadoes and severe storms since late April.
