Albany, MO: Emil Dean Mitchell, 65, Albany, MO passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at a St. Joseph, MO hospital.
He was born on September 12, 1953 in Bethany, Missouri the son of William E. and Evelyn (Giberson) Mitchell.
Emil was a graduate of South Harrison High School and served in the United States Army during Desert Storm. He then worked as a machinist for Johnson Controls in Albany.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Emil is survived by his daughters, Jennifer King, Bethany, MO and Erica (Jaison) Molayal, Oviedo, FL; son, Jason (Jaclyn) Mitchell, Bethany, MO; grandchildren, Zoey, Dax, Xander and Andre; mother, Evelyn Mitchell, Maryville, MO; brothers, William D. “Bill” Mitchell, Philadelphia, PA and David Mitchell, Maryville, MO; sister, Susan Mitchell, Jameson, MO and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 15 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO.
