Bethany’s Safe Routes to School sidewalk project remains alive after the City Council Monday night reversed an earlier decision and unanimously voted to support the project.
The council’s 4-0 decision to accept MoDOT’s TAP grant surprised the roomful of local residents who came to the meeting to vocally support building the sidewalk that will run along 39th Street to connect with the South Harrison campus.
