Currently without a holding pen for stray dogs, Bethany will be looking into building its own dog pound near the wastewater treatment plant.
“We have had several complaints of dogs running loose,” said City Administrator Jake Taylor who presented drawings for the dog pound at Monday night’s meeting of the City Council. The dog pound would be supervised by the city’s water and sewer contractor, PeopleService.
