Wilmith “Kay” Terbieten passed away peacefully, on November 26, 2018, due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease.
She was a gentle soul and a bit of a nomad; born in French Camp, California, grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas, raised children in Houston, TX and then Bethany, Missouri where she worked at Gumdrop Books for 25 years. She spent her last years with children and grandchild in south Louisiana.
She is survived by her children Terrie Terbieten, Jennifer Mayer, Tim and his wife, Julie Terbieten. Survivors also include a brother, David Moore, grandsons, Tyler, Ryan and Matthew Terbieten and granddaughter, Mikayla Mayer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter “Buddy” Baker, Veda Baker Moore and Seth Moore. As well as her husband, Lee Terbieten. She requested a private ceremony with family only.
