Pattonsburg, MO: Steven Willhite, a North Harrison junior, led his adopted Pattonsburg football team to a 10-1 record this season before the Panthers were defeated in the state 8-man football semifinals on a snow-blown field at Grant City Saturday.
The Panthers, who had handily beaten the Worth County Tigers in their meeting during the regular season, didn’t have a chance to get untracked in the face of a gale-force wind that made it impossible for Steven, the quarterback, to connect with his receivers.
