Eugene L. Follmer of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital on June 1, 2018.
Gene was born April 3, 1939 to Lincoln and Esther (Reeder) Follmer, Cainsville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a graduate of Cainsville High School and attended the University of Missouri, Columbia. Gene retired from the Kansas City Police department as supervisor of radio maintenance after 20 years. He owned L & F Electronics for 13 years, while also working at Phillips Petroleum for 9 ½ years. Gene was a licensed private pilot and a ham amateur radio operator HA WAOKHP for many years.
Survivors are Aunt Creta Reeder, Ridgeway, many cousins and friends.
