Independence, MO: Betty L. Hook, 93, of Independence, MO (formerly of Bethany, MO) passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 at an Independence, MO hospital
She was born August 30, 1931 in Harrison County, Missouri the daughter of Clifford R. and Velma E. (Kinder) Davis.
On September 5, 1948, she married Harold John Hook in Martinsville, MO. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2002.
Betty worked as a dietary assistant at Crestview Home in Bethany, MO for several years.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jackie Granville; son, Mike Hook; brothers, Roy Lee Davis and Larry Joe Davis; step-brothers, Ron, Bill and John Youngs.
Survivors include her son, Gregory Hook and wife, Donna of Independence, MO; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and step-brother, Richard Youngs of Cameron, MO.
Graveside Service and Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
