Ricky Lynn Schroff, 68, of Bethany, Missouri, passed away on September 7, 2024.

     Rick was born on June 4, 1956, in Bethany, MO to Donald Lee and Margaret Jaynell (Crabtree) Schroff.

     Rick graduated from South Harrison High School in 1974 and went straight to work for GRM, where he retired from after 39 years.

     On May 27, 1978, Rick married Jaunita Elaine (Johns) Schroff, and had two children, Casey Lynn Schroff and Kelli Jo (Schroff) Young.

     Rick’s passion outside of work was farming, raising cattle, and hunting, a lifestyle that brought him great joy. He was a man always willing to help others, known for his generosity and unshakable work ethic.

     He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Effie Schroff; maternal grandparents, Robert and Golda Crabtree; and his father, Donald Lee Schroff.

     Rick is survived by his loving wife, Nita Schroff of Bethany; son, Casey (Michelle) Schroff of Bethany, MO; daughter, Kelli (Greg) Young of Eagleville, MO; his mother, Margaret Jaynell Schroff of Bethany, MO; his sister, Reiko Schroff (Tammy Long) of Kearney, MO; his aunt, Vera Wheeler of Bethany, MO; his cherished grandchildren, Hayli, Brantley, Jaycee, Coley, Carter, and Blake and great-grandchild, Harvey. 

     Rick’s legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to his family and friends will be remembered and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

     Rick has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.  Inurnment will be at a later date.  Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com.
