St. Joseph, MO: Reva Loree Carter, 83, St. Joseph, MO passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at Carriage Square in St. Joseph, MO.
Reva was born November 8, 1940 to Robert and Betty (Hamilton) Whitaker in Harrison County, Missouri.
On December 5, 1959, Reva married Elbert “Eb” Carter. He survives of the home.
Reva worked at the cap factor in Bethany for several years before moving to St. Joseph, MO in 1974 and started working at Lee Company. Reva worked at Highlander after she retired and until her death.
Reva was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Robert Brazzell and sisters, Donna Starmer and Janet Terhune.
Survivors in addition to her husband, Eb are her sister, Norma Brazzell and brothers, Robert Whitaker and Roger Whitaker; her granddaughter, Tasha (Austin) Kirschner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12 at Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
