Paul was born August 3, 1956, in Mercer County, MO the son of Norman and Patsy (Lyons) Gilliland.
Paul lived several years in the Algona, IA area and worked as a forklift operator. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Eagleville, MO. If you were to ask Paul, he would tell you, the most important thing in life to him were his grandchildren. He loved them all with all his heart.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brotherās, Allen and Bobby Gilliland; step-sons, Jeremy and Cory Knowles; and nephew, Jason Gilliland.
Survivors include his children, Josh Cook, Melanie Brown, Danielle (Clay) Dellos, Nicholas (Sara) Gilliland and Jennifer Niebuhr; grandchildren, Hailey Gilliland, Landon and Emily Brown, Aiden, Benjamin, and Ella Grace Dellos, and Claire and Cora Gilliland; 16 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Larry Gilliland.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Eagleville, MO. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Paul Gilliland Memorial Fund in care of Roberson Funeral Home P.O.
