Bethany, MO: The Bethany Public Library held its Summer Reading Kick-off Story Time on Saturday, June 1, with a special guest appearance from Smokey Bear who was celebrating his 80th birthday. The story time event was sponsored by the Sky High 4-H Club as a community involvement project to help get kids interested in reading over the summer time.
