Cainsville, MO: More than $4,500 was raised during a fundraiser Sunday afternoon at the historical Cainsville railroad depot. The donations will go toward restoring the building which once served the coal mining town. Serving the luncheon, from the left, are Dawn King, Louise Kellner and American Legion member Rod Fender. Gene Anderson of Princeton is on the left. The event was sponsored by Cainsvile Community Betterment. American Legion Post No. 257 is headquartered at the depot. It is located at the Cainsville ballpark, north of the school.–Republican-Clipper photos
