Bethany, MO: South Harrison Elementary pupils earned a trip to Kansas City Crown Center part of a reading program at the school. Gunnar Deskins, Aiden Slagle, Nevayda Smith, Izzy Ellis, Skylar Ripley, Kinsley Puls, McKenna Puls, and Warren Umphry read the books from the Mark Twain or Truman reading list for the state of Missouri. As a result of their efforts, they attended a special field trip to Crown Center on March 7. Students ate at Fritz›s Railroad Restaurant and toured the Journey to Oz Exhibit at Crown Center Showplace and watched The Lightning Thief: the Percy Jackson Musical at Coterie Theater.
