Improvements to greet visitors to fair

MO - In its 94th year, the Northwest Missouri State Fair promises
even more fun and surprises for fairgoers when the gates open
this afternoon (Wednesday) for an expanded six-day program.
Several
new events will be making a debut at this year’s fair. Chonda Pierce,
a Christian comedian, will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon in
front of the grandstands. And the “Wild World of Animals” will be presenting
free shows on the fairgrounds all through the weekend.
