Jack was born in Springfield, Mo March 1, 1942 to Ivan and Nell (Hendrix) Hunt. Jack married Mary (Vestal) Hunt July 12, 1975. He graduated from Bethany High School in 1959.

Jack was a business owner for most of his life, owning Bethany Milk Transportation until 1975 and part owner and founder of Springfield Products. He enjoyed working, but retired several years ago due to illness. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed reloading ammunition.

Jack is survived by his wife Mary Hunt and his children Lorie (Steve) Latimer Strafford, Mo, Dale (Barbra) Hunt Stockton, Mo, Chris (LaDonna) Hunt Nixa, Mo, Lesa (Marty) Claussen Colord, Ok, John (Tonya) Marion Springfield, Mo and Bob Vestal Kansas City, Mo. Nine grandchildren, Charley Ann Norris, Keith Hunt, Trevor Joe Hunt, Randi Hunt, Sarah Weter and Eric Latimer, Tyler, Josh and Colton Marion, and 10 great grandchildren.
