Native American costume: Brendan Hemenway, a member of Boy Scout Troop 100 of Bethany, shows his traditional Native American back bustle to Marsha and Eddie Creager at T & R Archery Specialists archery shop in Bethany. Eddie gave Brendan used arrow shafts from his shop, which Brendan used to extend the feathers and shape the bustle. Brendan placed first in traditional costuming at the Mic-O-Say Conclave in the Firebuilder/Tom Tom Beater division (16 – 17 year old) held January 6, at Maryville. The conclave included participants from the Pony Express Council of the BSA, and several other states. The tribe of Mic-O-Say is the honor camping society of the Pony Express Council, BSA.
