Motorist injured at old Four Way

Motorist injured at old Four Way: A McFall resident was treated for minor injuries at Harrison County Community Hospital following an accident Friday evening at the junction of U.S. 136 and U.S. 69, two miles west of Bethany. According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Devon Ellis, 27, of Albany approached the intersection. Victoria Vandiver, 47, of McFall was waiting to turn south onto Highway 69. Ellis’ Traverse struck Vandiver’s 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe in the rear end. Both vehicles were totaled. Vandiver was taken to HCCH by private vehicle after suffering minor injuries. Trooper D. M. Wilburn investigated the accident, assisted by Sgt. T. L. Williams, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Bethany Police Department.
