Harrison County spelling bee winners

The Harrison County Spelling Bee was held at the Cainsville R-I School on February 12.

The winner of the day was James Norton from Gilman City whose winning word was “prairie”.

Second place went to Kyler Preston, Gilman City. First alternate was Gunnar McLain, Cainsville; second alternate was Elizabeth Porter, Ridgeway.

These students will move on to the Regional Spelling Bee in St. Joseph at St.. Francis Xavier on March 3rd.
