Raytown, MO: Richard L. “Rick” Stanley, 53, Raytown, MO, passed away Thursday, January 11 at a Kansas City hospice house.

He was born September 3, 1964 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado the son of Richard Ray and Elaine (Landes) Stanley. They preceded him in death.

On August 3, 2005, he married Kim Yount in South Dakota. She survives of the home.

Rick worked as a Senior Ingredients Specialist for Corbion Ingredients. He was a member of the Kansas City Trap Association and the Amateur Trap Association.

Survivors in addition to his wife, Kim, are a daughter, Bailey Whiteaker, Grandview, MO; brother, Roger (Tammy) Stanley, Kansas City, MO; nieces, Samantha and Mariah Stanley; aunts, Pat (Carl) Folgate, Ridgeway, MO and Nell (Neal) Dodson, Cameron, TX and several cousins.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Private Family Inurnment will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery, Bethany, MO. There will be no visitation. An additional Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27 at The Stanley, 25 SE 3rd St., Lee’s Summit, MO. Memorials may be made to Pancan.org in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.
