Survivors: Mother, Maxine Emerson; significant other, Cerise Buckingham; Family friends, Sheryl and Larence Jones; sister, Carolyn (Marvin) Richardson, brother, Marvin Emerson; Uncle Wayne Emerson; 5 nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Emerson, grandparents, Ethel and Ralph Emerson, Bertha and Roscoe Mercer, uncles and aunts, Leonard Emerson, and Wilma Hamm.
Kenny was born on May 3, 1962 in Akron, CO to Ivan and Maxine (Mercer) Emerson. He was a 1980 graduate of North Harrison. He married Marcia Lamb Johnson in 1996. They were later divorced.
Kenny had worked in construction, farming, ranching, and was a certified jeweler.
Memorial Graveside services: 10:00 a.m. September 15th, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Blythedale. Pastor Robert Skeens will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church #2, or the charity of your choice.
Cremation provided by Bethany Memorial Chapel.
