South Harrison Elementary recognized: South Harrison Elementary School was recognized as a Silver Award winner for PBIS implementation at the state level for the month of June. Tier 1 and Tier 2 PBIS team staff members are: back row: Amy Sellars, Jessica Willis, Heather Fitzgerald, Jamie Carter and Harmony Cornett, front row: Trisha Sprague, Deanna Wiederholt and Natalie Arnold.

One hundred sixty seven Missouri public and charter schools will be recognized for exemplary implementation of Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (SW-PBS). SW-PBS is an evidence based, proactive approach to teaching and reinforcing behavioral expectations in order to improve student behavior, maximize instructional time, and increase student engagement.
