South Harrison Elementary recognized: South Harrison Elementary School was recognized as a Silver Award winner for PBIS implementation at the state level for the month of June. One hundred sixty seven Missouri public and charter schools will be recognized for exemplary implementation of Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (SW-PBS). SW-PBS is an evidence based, proactive approach to teaching and reinforcing behavioral expectations in order to improve student behavior, maximize instructional time, and increase student engagement.
