NEW HAMPTON, MO: Olive R. Swope, 91, New Hampton, MO passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at a Bethany, MO nursing home.
She was born January 6, 1926 in New Hampton, MO the daughter of Clyde and Birdie (Powelson) Blessing.
On March 22, 1944 she married Kenneth L. Swop in Albany, MO. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie Morgan; and brothers, Marion C. Blessing and Harold “Red” Blessing.
She is survived by her sisters, Dorothea Gardner, Blanche Ross, Shirley Ann Faulk, and Rosalie Brimager; brother, Merle Dwaine Blessing; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery, New Hampton, MO.
