BETHANY, MO: Martha Jane Berry, 90, Bethany, MO (formerly of Morgan City, Louisiana) passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at a Bethany, MO nursing home.
Martha was born September 24, 1926 in Pass Manchac, Louisiana the daughter of Charles P. and Nancy E. (Easterling) Reno.
On February 21, 1952 she married Foster Berry in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. He survives of the home.
Martha lived a long and happy life. She loved her family. He grandchildren were the light of her life. She was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a kind and generous soul and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Benjamin and Charles Berry; daughter, Janet Mixon; and 11 siblings.
She is also survived by her son, Robert (Myra Ann) Padilla, Pass Christian, MS; daughter, Elizabeth (Joseph) Sterkis, Bethany, MO; sons, Wesley (Leslie) Berry, Walker, LA, Jack Berry, Biloxi, MS; brothers, Frank and Jack Reno both of Ponchatoula, LA; sister, Pauline O’Conner, Ponchatoula, LA; and 12 grandchildren.
Martha has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
