The future course of the South TIF District represents the single biggest issue that separates Joe Johnson and Todd Williams who are competing to succeed Dick Graner as Bethany mayor in next Tuesday’s municipal election.
The newly-elected mayor could provide the swing vote on future Board of Aldermen decisions on the South TIF District, which would open up land for development between Countryside East and Walmart.
