Nelda Lee Groom, 89, passed away at her home in Crane, Mo., on December 22, 2016.
Nelda was born on May 24, 1927 in Harrison County, Mo., to Fred and Zola Hill. She worked as a waitress, a seamstress at the garment factory in Crane, and was a homemaker.
Nelda was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Dale Groom; brothers, Eugene, Richard, James, Dean and John; a sister, Louella and her dog Ginger.
Funeral services were Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane.
Her final resting place is in the Isabelle Cemetery, Worth County, Mo., which is just a few miles from where Nelda was born and raised.
