untitledDoris Annora (nee Yurth) Crabtree, 87, of Twin Falls, Idaho, formerly of Manhattan, Kansas, went peacefully to join her husband, Bud, and the Heavenly Father on September 29, 2016. Doris was born to Floyd and Edith (nee Fulton) Yurth on October 21, 1928, in Keokuk, Iowa. Doris married CR “Bud” Crabtree on June 11, 1949, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Besides being a loving wife and mother, Doris worked through the years as a switchboard operator, choir director, and as a paraprofessional for the Manhattan School District. After retiring and moving to Idaho, Doris cherished her time cultivating her beautiful flower gardens, traveling the country with Bud, visiting children and grandchildren, singing, and camping.

Doris is survived by her children, Michael (Leslie) Crabtree, Burley, Idaho; Judy (Michael) Roth, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Nancy (Dan) Peters, Vesper, Wisconsin; Carla Crabtree, Twin Falls, Idaho; and Kristie (Kevin) Berkley, Breckenridge, Colorado. Doris loved 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years; her parents, Floyd and Edith Yurth; and brothers, Gerald and Marvin Yurth.

The family will hold a celebration of life and committal of ashes ceremony at the Miriam Cemetery, in Bethany, Missouri. Doris will be remembered as a devoted, loving wife and mother. Her place of honor will be in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to respectfully suggest a memorial be made to Hospice Visions, 1770 Parkview Drive, Twin Falls, ID 83301, www.hospicevisions.org in appreciation of their loving care of our Mother.
