Anna Ruth Bain, age 83 of Bethany, formerly of Cainsville was born March 6, 1933 in Cainsville to Paul Revere and Lora Genevieve (Cain) Ross and died October 19, 2106 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.
Anna Ruth graduated from Cainsville School in 1951. She married Claude William Bain, Jr. on March 15, 1952. They lived on the farm for 26 years moving to town in 1978. While on the farm she raised a big garden and cared for her family. She baked pies for Shorty’s restaurant and worked in the cafeteria at Cainsville School.
She was preceded in death by parents: Paul (1983) and Ginny (2006), husband: Jr. (2000), son: James Louis (1961), brother: Max (2106); son-in-law: Steve (2014); granddaughter: Courtney (2016) and sister-in-law: Mary (2015).
Surviving are Anna Ruth’s children: Penny (Willie) Cornelison, Cainsville, Debbie Irving Tjelmeland, Chariton, Iowa, Bill (Linda) Bain, Cainsville, Vickie (Don) Doty, Cainsville, and Jay (Julie) Bain, Cainsville; sister: Connie (Orville) Willis, Bethany; sister-in-law Carolyn Ross, Cainsville; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
