Girl Scout camp: Girl Scouts from all over the area (Princeton, Cainsville, Eagleville, Worth County, and Bethany) attended a day camp held at the Bethany Fairgrounds this past weekend, August 6th and 7th. This year’s theme was the Olympics. The girls were divided into teams and designed their own flags for the parade.
The girls put on tumbling routines for visitors that are interested in joining scouts. The night ended with a medal ceremony, S’mores and a camp out.
Events the teams competed in were: gunny sack races, 3-legged races, shot put, leaky cups bucket relay, and an obstacle course (put on by the famous John Rose of Bethany).
